1. INTRODUCTION
This Privacy Policy describes how the Amaroel Energy Android application handles information when you use its electricity-network guidance, enquiry-preparation, favourites and settings features. The legal company identified for the application is AMAROEL ENERGY LTD. Questions about this policy may be sent to support@amaroelenergy.store.
2. INFORMATION YOU ENTER
For an enquiry to pass validation, the app asks for:
- Full name (required): identifies the person preparing the enquiry record.
- Email address (required): included in the record as intended contact information.
- UK site postcode (required): describes the project location; it is not used to track your live location.
- Property type (required): categorises the site (such as residential or commercial).
- Enquiry type (required): records the subject of the enquiry.
- Project details (required): records your description of the work; at least ten characters are required.
The form also offers:
- Phone number (optional): additional intended contact information.
- Power requirement or anticipated-capacity notes (optional): helps describe an electrical project.
The application generates an internal record identifier, creation and update times, and a draft/completed status for each saved enquiry. It also saves identifiers of favourite network topics.
3. HOW INFORMATION IS USED
The information you enter is used to display, review, edit and organise your enquiry details within the app. Saved enquiries support reopening, copying, deleting and distinguishing drafts from completed records. A completed record means the form information was completed in the app; it is not evidence of delivery to or acceptance by a business, supplier, or network operator.
4. WHERE INFORMATION IS STORED; WHETHER IT IS SHARED
Enquiry records and favourite-topic selections are stored in the app's private Android SharedPreferences storage on your device. Form details are temporarily held in app memory while you enter them. This version does not implement a business backend, Firebase, authentication, cloud sync or online enquiry submission. The app does not automatically send enquiry contents, email addresses, phone numbers or UK postcodes to AMAROEL ENERGY LTD or a network operator.
5. OPTIONAL ONLINE PHOTOGRAPHS AND THIRD PARTIES
With online photography enabled, the app may request publicly available UK electricity infrastructure images from Wikimedia Commons. Such a connection can expose ordinary internet metadata (for example your IP address and device/network request information) to Wikimedia or network intermediaries, subject to their policies. Your saved enquiry form fields are not included in these photo requests. Retrieved pictures may be cached temporarily in the app's cache. You can turn online photography off in Settings; bundled artwork is available without image requests. The selected photography preference is stored on your device.
You may choose to open a guide source or image credit in an external browser, or start an email to support@amaroelenergy.store through your device's installed mail application. The external app or service may process any information you voluntarily give it, under its own privacy terms. The Amaroel Energy app does not automatically attach saved enquiry records to contact emails.
6. RETENTION
Saved enquiries and favourites remain on your device until you delete them, clear app data or uninstall the app. No automatic deletion period is implemented. Preferences remain on the device until changed or until app data is cleared. Cached photos may remain until removed by Android, by device cache-clearing controls, or when app data is removed. Unsaved form content is not retained as a stored enquiry unless you save or complete it.
7. DELETING OR CORRECTING DATA
You can open My Enquiries to review, edit or delete individual saved records. In Settings, “Delete all personal information” removes saved enquiry records and favourites. To remove all app settings and cached information as well, use Android Settings > Apps > Amaroel Energy > Storage > Clear storage, or uninstall the application. For questions, contact support@amaroelenergy.store.
8. PERMISSIONS AND DEVICE INFORMATION
The application requests only Android INTERNET permission, used for optional licensed infrastructure photographs and their caching. It does not request precise or background location, contacts, camera, microphone, photo-library access, SMS or call-log access. The typed UK site postcode is supplied by you and is not a GPS reading.
9. ADS, ANALYTICS, PAYMENTS AND ACCOUNTS
This version does not integrate advertisements, behavioural analytics SDKs, a Firebase backend, user accounts, in-app purchases, payment-card collection or payment processing. We do not claim that Google Play or the Android operating system collects no diagnostic data; any platform processing is governed by the relevant platform policies.
10. SECURITY AND BACKUPS
Saved enquiry records reside in the application's Android private storage. The app sets Android backup to disabled. No storage or device security mechanism can guarantee absolute protection; use appropriate device screen-lock protections. Do not include sensitive account credentials, payment-card details, identification documents or other information unnecessary for an electricity-network enquiry in free-text fields.
11. CHILDREN
This app is intended as a general utility for people preparing electricity-network enquiries; it is not designed to solicit personal information from children. Anyone unable to provide their information appropriately should avoid submitting it into the form.
12. CHANGES
If the application's features, SDKs, data handling or services change, this policy should be updated before release of those changes and the date shown above revised. A Play Console Data safety declaration must accurately match the final tested release; this policy does not replace that declaration.
